Marisa Catalina Casey

Starting Artists Executive Director

Trained as a photographer, Marisa enjoyed Rhode Island School of Design classes as a Brown University student and earned her Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Columbia. Marisa is a frequent speaker at conferences and will help prepare students with presentation and public speaking skills.

Lisa Bowstead

LaGuardia Alumna, Educator & Drawing Instructor

Lisa has 10 years of classical training in drawing and painting. She studied drawing and painting at the Woodstock School of Art and Art History at Columbia University. Lisa was awarded the “Advanced Drawing Award" at the LaGuardia HS of Music and Art and has taught at PS29 and as a private tutor. Lisa runs Big Fish Tutoring, specializing in math, drawing, and portfolio preparation. Lisa will be preparing students for the drawing audition and portfolio review process.

Tali Nagler

Manhattan Business Academy Art Teacher

Tali obtained her BFA in sculpture from the University of Colorado and her Master of Fine Arts and Art Education from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Tali has worked as a mentor for under-served high school students for The Nature Conservancy and learned the inner workings of art sales and business at Anton Kern Gallery in Chelsea. Tali will be helping students in public speaking and portfolio review.
