Winter Arts Intensive 2009
Winter Arts Intensive 2009 participants learned programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash while practicing entrepreneurial skills during the winter public school vacation.

Spring Arts Intensive participants spent the public school spring vacation learning arts and business skills at Starting Artists.
Mother’s Day Crafternoon
SA celebrated Mother’s Day with an afternoon full of crafts, face painting, card decorating, and balloon animals.
ArtWalk 2009
Starting Artists participated for the second year in the Atlantic Avenue ArtWalk, providing exhibition space for the Broad Visions artist collective as well as contributing a window exhibition curated by Katherine Gressel as part of Windows Brooklyn.
